Dark stone, warm timber, ceremonial light. An elevated dining room built on contrast.
Oriental Restaurante required a space that could carry the weight of a refined dining experience while remaining unmistakably rooted in its Asian cultural references. The entry sequence sets the tone: a dark green marble reception desk — dramatic, monolithic — commands the threshold, while a field of circular timber wall panels rises behind it in a rhythm that reads as both decorative and architectural.
The material palette is deliberately restrained to let the contrasts do the work. Cool stone against warm wood. Hard surfaces softened by careful lighting. Pendant fixtures hang at an intimate height over dining zones, drawing each table into its own pool of amber. The result is a restaurant that asks you to slow down — and rewards you for it.
